Join Us in the Battle Against Cancer:
 

Imagine receiving the life-altering news that your beloved family member has been diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare and merciless form of cancer. That's the heart-wrenching reality that has befallen my brother, Jonny.

I have decided to run the NYC Marathon this year on November 5^th, as a member of Team Daniella- the team running on behalf of the Daniella Moffson Foundation. The Foundation was established in memory of Daniella Moffson who died tragically in 2016 at the age of 21 while on a mercy mission in Honduras. Daniella's dream job was to be a pediatric oncologist. 

The Daniella Moffson Foundation will be establishing a fund in honor of Jonny, who will be undergoing chemotherapy treatment over the next 6 months. While there is no equivalent to the difficulty of having to go through chemo and the strength one must endure, I wanted to be side by side with him during the next 6 months by going through the physical challenge of training and running for a marathon.

Thankfully, Jonny and his family are positioned to shoulder the heavy financial load accompanying his healthcare. But we realize that many families grappling with similar battles are not as fortunate. Alongside the physical and emotional torment of a cancer diagnosis, an immense financial burden looms, often overwhelming families.

To support these families and in the merit of Jonny's complete and speedy recovery, The Daniella Moffson Foundation has partnered with Chai Lifeline, a world-renowned health support organization, to establish a fund in his honor. Every donation is a lifeline to those buckling under the weight of cancer.

Our goal is to raise $36,000. Double Chai. The Hebrew word for ‘life’ is ‘chai’. In Judaism, the word chai is numerically significant, and the number 18 is universally synonymous with this word. We use this word in anticipation of all good things to come.

We implore you to join us in this endeavor, as we pray for Jonny and for the wellbeing of all those suffering from illness. Let's band together to provide support to those who need it most.
