Dear Friends, Nearly one year ago we tragically lost our beloved aunt, Dina a”h, to cancer. Dina was someone who dedicated her entire being to chesed and to helping others, particularly the children and families of Chai Lifeline. Chai Lifeline is an organization for children and families journeying through medical crisis. This organization was near and dear to Dina’s a”h heart. For 20 years, she selflessly gave her time and resources to Chai Lifeline volunteering and coordinating numerous events throughout the year for families with children diagnosed with cancer, chronic illnesses and disabilities. Dina a”h considered all the children of Chai Lifeline as they were her own. She would personally greet every child she met with her signature warmth and smile, bringing much-needed joy and a ray of sunshine to lives dimmed by illness. On February 5, we will be hosting a parlor meeting in our parents’ home, 1269 47th Street at 7:30 PM to mark Dina’s a”h first yahrtzeit. At this event we hope to raise enough funds which will be used to dedicate a special room in Camp Simcha - Chai Lifeline’s magical summer program for sick children in memory of our beloved Dina a”h. Chai Lifeline is an incredibly important organization and has always been there for Cholei Yisroel in our community. We hope we can count on you to join us in supporting this worthy cause and to continue Dina’s a”h legacy of love and compassion for Chai Lifeline’s children. The Goldberger Family!
