Over the last year, I have been baking challah weekly and delivering it to families who are undergoing Cancer treatment.  For my bat mitzvah, I decided to work with Little Words Project, a women founded business to design a bracelet to inspire and lift up children who have been brought down by cancer over the years. These bracelets each carry a special message and every time you look down you are reminded to bring yourself up.  
 
When designing my bracelet, I chose my message to be "P.O.P".  This word energizes me every morning. "P.O.P" stands for Patience, Optimism, Persevere .
but really reminds me that in life there are many ups and downs, but we must all be Patient, Optimistic, and in the end Persevere.  
 
I will be selling my design on the Little Words Project website and 25% of the proceeds will go towards Camp Simcha and Chai Lifeline.  All contributions in honor of my bat mitzvah will go toward the jewelry making and spa program this summer at Camp Simcha.
