Zevi "Boogie" Berger, known to his colleagues as Ben, brought joy, warmth, and mischief to everyone lucky enough to know him.

His booming laugh, signature pranks, and heart of gold made him unforgettable.

As part of Chai Lifeline's new New Jersey Family Center, opening in September 2025, we are dedicating the soft play gym area for young children in memory of Ben.

This space, where laughter will echo, friendships will form, and little ones will heal through play, will be named Ben's Place. 

This is more than a room. It's a place where children facing illness, crisis, and loss can feel safe, happy, and free. It will reflect everything Ben stood for: energy, heart, and boundless love for kids.

We're launching a campaign to raise $650,000 to make this tribute a reality. With your help, Ben’s legacy will live on in the joy of every child who plays here.
